I am travelling back from the US. REd Cross is repeatedly posting requests in the US newspapers that I read for contributions. So,
For those who are not in TN:
Redcross world over welcomes donations in terms of money/cheques. They say money is easier to handle than cloths and food which, they say, are difficult to transport to affected areas.

As for the disaster, I have no words to even to think about it. On coming back home, I can't imagine the depth of the aftermath that awaits me there.
